Eating Disorder Treatment
(Anorexia Nervosa & Related Disorders)
With nearly 30 years of experience specializing in the treatment of eating disorders, Dr. Price offers expert, evidence-based care for individuals and families facing anorexia nervosa and related conditions.
Her approach is grounded in two of the most widely researched and effective treatment models available today:
CBT-E (Enhanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy):
Trained directly by Dr. Christopher Fairburn, Dr. Price uses CBT-E to help clients of all ages understand and change the thoughts and behaviors that maintain eating disorders.
This flexible, individualized therapy is effective for a wide range of eating-related concerns.
FBT (Family-Based Treatment):
For children and adolescents, Dr. Price also offers Family-Based Treatment (also known as the Maudsley approach). She was directly trained by one of the founders of FBT, Dr. Daniel Le Grange.
FBT empowers families to take an active, supportive role in their loved one’s recovery. It is a model that has shown high success rates for younger clients.
Dr. Price works with both individuals and families, whether they are navigating a new diagnosis or seeking support after previous treatment.
