Dr. Patricia Price is a clinical psychologist, specializing in the treatment of eating disorders, anxiety, and perfectionism.
She is dedicated to using scientifically supported assessment tools and treatment methods, combined with a compassionate and non-judgmental style. Dr. Price’s emphasis is on working with teens, adults, and parents. She has experience working in inpatient, outpatient, and partial-hospitalization settings.
Dr. Price completed her pre-doctoral internship with the Minnesota Department of Corrections, working with female inmates from all walks of life. She completed the final stages of her training in an outpatient group practice in Rochester.
As a doctoral-level psychologist, Dr. Price believes strongly in the biopsychosocial model of illness. This model systematically considers biological, psychological, and social factors and their complex interactions in understanding illness.
When assessing an individual or family, Dr. Price considers all of these factors, before making a diagnosis and a treatment plan.
Counseling Services
Dr. Price has a great deal of training in family-based therapy (the Maudsley Model), as well as in cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness practices. Her office is conveniently located in downtown Rochester, just 4 blocks from the Mayo Clinic complex. Free parking is provided.
